You will find various shoe and clothing shops, music stores, and good second-hand bookstores.\nYou can reach Monastiraki by train (Line 1) or metro (Line 3). The station for both is on Monastiraki Square. Metro and train are a cheap way to move around (A regular 90-minute single ticket for all public transport costs 1,20€; airport Metro, EXPRESS & X80 bus lines are priced seperately). One less inviting aspect of traveling by public transport is that one must keep in mind the reality of pickpockets and be very careful.
