Have you ever wondered what it would be like to witness the bustling cityscape of Taipei from above? Well, you will enjoy! Xiangshan is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, and for good reason. Not only is it free, but the hike to the top is a great workout with the reward of stunning views. In fact, Xiangshan is one of the best vantage points in the city to see the iconic Taipei 101 tower in all its glory.\n\nBut that's not all. Xiangshan is also steeped in history. During the Qing Dynasty, this mountain was a hunting ground for the royal family. It was named Xiangshan, which means \"fragrant mountain\", due to the scent of elephants that were hunted and processed for their tusks. Nowadays, Xiangshan has become a favorite walking spot for locals who come here to enjoy nature and relax from the busy city life.\n\nThe hike to the top of Xiangshan can be steep, but the stunning views of Taipei City and beyond are totally worth it. Along the way, you'll come across various lookout points and rest areas, including some for taking pictures. Just remember to wear comfortable shoes and plenty of water, especially during the summer months. And don't worry, we'll calm down and stop for a break along the way.\n\nSo are you ready to conquer Xiangshan and see the beauty of Taipei from above?"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2Fp1000080-768x1024.jpg?alt=media&token=595b3d1d-5f50-4131-8730-89d2310b0526"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2F1024x768_attractions-image-d2bf55zrf0ccp-j29xhjpg.jpg?alt=media&token=5c495101-618b-427e-8496-57d0e95add0b"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2F1024x768_attractions-image-fjck6hgjre6acqcp2mhcqq.jpg?alt=media&token=59ff88d9-9d2e-439c-badd-f5150fc03940"},{"type":"video","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2FSnaptik.app_6917526063283260678.mp4?alt=media&token=3895dd6e-5b73-4c36-aeb1-435ec9ae44a2"}]},{"address":"Yongkang Street","location":{"longitudeDelta":0.14321712068773834,"latitudeDelta":0.09219986310369421,"latitude":25.03076570741548,"longitude":121.52952979999998},"media":[{"type":"text","content":"# Yongkang Street"},{"type":"audio","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2Fsynthesized_audio%20(5).mp3?alt=media&token=066bfca4-8523-4273-ad95-3d400550ff80"},{"type":"text","content":"After visiting Elephant Mountain, I'm sure you're in need of some extra energy. Come on, come to Yongkang Street- one of the most famous food streets in Taipei! Believe it or not, this street has been around for over a century and has transformed from a quiet residential area to a suitable food haven. As we walk down the street, you'll notice the mix of old and new buildings, but one thing that hasn't changed is the quality of the food here.\n\nDo you know what makes Yongkang Street unique compared to other food streets in Taipei? It's the fact that it's home to some of the oldest and most famous food stalls in the city. One such stall is the famous \"Kao Chi\" restaurant, which has been serving up delicious dumplings for over 70 years. You must definitely visit this stall and try their signature dish, the xiaolongbao - a type of steamed dumpling filled with soup and meat.\n\nAnother tip for navigating Yongkang Street is to come with an empty stomach and try as many different dishes as possible. From savory beef noodle soup to sweet pineapple cakes, there's something for everyone. One of my personal favorites is the shaved ice dessert at \"Ice Monster\" - a perfect way to cool down on a hot day.\n\nBut Yongkang Street isn't just about the food. As we walk down the street, take a moment to admire the beautiful architecture and street art. You'll notice a mix of traditional Taiwanese buildings and modern cafes, making for a unique and charming atmosphere.\n\nSo, are you ready to explore Yongkang Street and indulge in some of the best food Taipei has to offer?"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2FKaochi-1.jpg?alt=media&token=06077db5-3dbb-4e3a-bec4-bb4a12820c42"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2F45870058264_d94f2ffa0e_b.jpg?alt=media&token=9bb9f117-2c57-4487-a8da-ebc85276c2b7"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2FIMG_9293.JPG?alt=media&token=f6b80f0d-b419-4b8b-902d-bdbfec2f248a"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2Ficemonster1.jpg?alt=media&token=2b577c5b-e266-4902-9f44-16622e6ce8b5"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2F18231347166_2900c72780_z.jpg?alt=media&token=a2c41246-b517-489f-9fc6-ef624cf51494"}]},{"address":"Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall","location":{"longitudeDelta":0.14321712068773834,"latitudeDelta":0.09219986310369421,"latitude":25.03524147382093,"longitude":121.51990855},"media":[{"type":"text","content":"$ Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall"},{"type":"audio","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2Fsynthesized_audio%20(6).mp3?alt=media&token=e89ee44c-b690-4f2e-b304-ccabf9036183"},{"type":"text","content":"Next, chúng ta sẽ ghé thăm Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Believe it or not, we are standing in front of one of the most iconic landmarks in Taipei City - the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stand in the footsteps of a former leader? Well, today you have the chance to do just that!\n\nThe Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was built to commemorate the former President of the Republic of China, Chiang Kai-shek. The monument is an impressive structure, with a height of 76 meters and a white and blue roof representing the colors of the Republic of China flag.\n\nInside the hall, you will find an enormous bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek, surrounded by a number of exhibits and displays. The hall serves not only as a memorial, but also as a cultural center, hosting regular events such as concerts, exhibitions, and other public gatherings.\n\nAs you walk up the steps to the monument, be sure to take in the beautiful garden and fountain that surround it. It's the perfect spot for a photo op or a peaceful moment of reflection.\n\nEntry to the hall is free of charge, and there are also guided tours available for a small fee. My tip for you is to plan your visit around the hourly changing of the guards, which is a popular and impressive ceremony to witness.\n\nAfter your visit, I highly recommend checking out the nearby National Theater and Concert Hall, or grabbing a bite to eat at the famous Yongkang Street Night Market, which we visited earlier."},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2F1024x768_attractions-image-ipv17a5vbuaew-0ghiobgq.jpg?alt=media&token=0e52529e-4be6-4c15-9a2f-e38fb538921c"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2FChiang_Kai-shek_memorial_amk.jpg?alt=media&token=03dbd6b8-7feb-4984-a461-22ef96436d6d"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2F1024x768_attractions-image-sja1r0ll_e2f8i_w_fnxyg.jpg?alt=media&token=6a81143f-af9b-4109-8118-d2801aa3bcbf"},{"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2F1024px-change_of_guards_at_chiang_kai-shek_memorial_hall_5457962594.webp?alt=media&token=21cdf0cc-9d04-4305-aab9-d90eb5e2a695"},{"type":"video","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2FSnaptik.app_6958830601633893634.mp4?alt=media&token=6328f8bf-db7f-4ced-8ea1-c7ffa4d59667"}]},{"address":"Huashan 1914 Creative Park","location":{"longitudeDelta":0.14321712068773834,"latitudeDelta":0.09219986310369421,"latitude":25.043770107419917,"longitude":121.52915575000002},"media":[{"type":"text","content":"# Huashan 1914 Creative Park"},{"type":"audio","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FA4IIJlfJvpykm1ERKNhv%2Fsynthesized_audio%20(7).mp3?alt=media&token=97ff2ae4-a855-420a-bc75-7972a1b4cb1a"},{"type":"text","content":"We've arrived at our fourth stop, Huashan 1914 Creative Park.
