Moreover, this is the only Houseboat Museum in the world!\n\nHouseboat\nUnique location on the Prinsengracht canal in the central disctrict Jordaan, provide a fitting background for the museum vessel. The spot is only five minutes walk from the Anne Frank House and it's near to Westerkerk church.\n\nOn board you can see how this authentic barge was converted to a comfortable houseboat, provided with authentic skipper's quarters with sleeping bunk, sizable livingroom, kitchen and bathroom. You shall be dumbfounded at the space and comfort on board.\n\nThe vessel on which the houseboatmuseum is reconverted was built in 1914 and bore the name Hendrika Maria ever since. In those days the ship was propelled by sail.\n\nDeck of Houseboat MuseumThe original vessel was engaged in transporting sand, gravel and coal until the ninteen-sixties. Thereafter the Hendrika Maria was converted into a houseboat in such a way as to maintain the historic outer appearance in being. The vessel has actually been lived in for about twenty years. Even though it is now no longer lived in, it seems though as if the residents just popped out to do the shopping. The houseboat museum is a living museum where one can poke about and sit where one wills.\n\nIn at least thirteen languages, there is a discriptive booklet with which you can find your own way around the boat.","type":"text"},{"content":"https://houseboatmuseum.nl/","type":"link"},{"type":"video","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FzPLXWK0wukwRGWHUwzPd%2Ft%E1%BA%A3i%20xu%E1%BB%91ng.mp4?alt=media&token=4d6628bd-6df3-49a6-82be-199f5937e348","metadata":{"height":1024,"width":576}}],"location":{"latitude":52.37001742059868,"longitudeDelta":0.14321712068773834,"latitudeDelta":0.09219986310369421,"longitude":4.882278799999975}},{"location":{"longitude":4.875000000000003,"latitude":52.371851020600054,"longitudeDelta":0.14321712068773834,"latitudeDelta":0.09219986310369421},"address":"Restaurant Moeders","media":[{"type":"text","content":"# Restaurant Moeders"},{"type":"link","content":"https://moeders.com/en/menu"},{"version":1,"type":"img","metadata":{"width":920,"height":613},"content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FzPLXWK0wukwRGWHUwzPd%2Fmoeders-ristorante-amsterdam.jpg?alt=media&token=74b866cd-318a-426c-b2ce-ed590132b73d"},{"content":"Refuel and discover more of the city's culture by stopping by Restaurant Moeders. \n\nMoeders (“mothers” in Dutch) was recommended to us by one of our tour guides and it didn’t disappoint at all; it was exactly what we were looking for: a simple, home-cooked Dutch meal (we wanted to try this cuisine) in a setting that seems to have been taken out of a 1950s catalogue. Every inch of every wall is covered with photographs of mothers, making it historically charming.\nThe family-owned business is quite busy (reservations are highly recommended) but it won’t disappoint in terms of quality or service.","type":"text"},{"content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FzPLXWK0wukwRGWHUwzPd%2F11.PNG?alt=media&token=8715e4f7-13cd-4981-a790-4cc0b8227cad","type":"img","version":1,"metadata":{"height":799,"width":645}},{"metadata":{"height":377,"width":550},"version":1,"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FzPLXWK0wukwRGWHUwzPd%2Fmoeders.jpg?alt=media&token=24b4fa37-5d0a-4b5b-9cb9-76765e7e50ef"}]},{"media":[{"content":"# Electric Ladyland ","type":"text"},{"version":1,"content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FzPLXWK0wukwRGWHUwzPd%2F3ec258ecef08fa16639e8fde7dfb9609.jpg?alt=media&token=f0046d32-3819-4595-a530-00664dfe72d2","type":"img","metadata":{"width":638,"height":433}},{"version":1,"type":"img","content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FzPLXWK0wukwRGWHUwzPd%2Felectric-ladyland-amsterdam-1.webp?alt=media&token=ecf9c397-3c51-4b5a-9b00-1ac02c74f263","metadata":{"height":960,"width":1280}},{"type":"text","content":"Electric Ladyland is a museum located in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
