It is a huge green space in the middle of the city, lined with giant fig trees and pathways that have been here for nearly 200 years. People come here to relax, eat lunch, or just enjoy the fresh air.\n\nAt the far end of the park you will see the Anzac Memorial. This is one of Australia’s most important war memorials. It was built in 1934 to honour the men and women who served in the First World War and in later conflicts. The building is tall and made from pale stone, with beautiful carvings and sculptures. Inside, there is the Hall of Memory with a powerful bronze sculpture called Sacrifice. Outside, there is a long Pool of Reflection where people stop to think and remember.\n\nHere is your challenge. Stand quietly for thirty seconds by the pool and see who can stay the stillest. After that, share one word about how it made you feel.\n\nFun fact. The memorial was designed by Bruce Dellit, who was only 32 years old when he won the design competition. This is the oldest museum in Australia, and it is filled with treasures from roaring dinosaurs to sparkling gems. Think of it as Sydney’s treasure chest of nature and history.\n\nInside, there are over 22 million objects. That is more than the number of people in all of Australia. So, here is our first challenge. I want each of you to pick an animal right now. It could be a lion, a shark, or even a dinosaur. Once we are inside, see who can find their animal first. Whoever wins gets to be the family explorer captain until the next stop.\n\nNow, a secret about dinosaurs. Did you know they did not all roar like in the movies. Some probably chirped or cooed, kind of like birds. So when you see the big skeletons inside, try to imagine them chirping at each other. Pretty funny, right.\n\nOkay, second challenge. Count how many different dinosaurs you spot. Do not lose track, because we will compare numbers outside. The person with the highest count gets to pick dessert at lunch.\n\nThis place is about exploring and asking questions. Inside, you will find paintings, sculptures, and creative works from around the world, as well as a huge collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art.\n\nFor families, this gallery is like a giant puzzle of colours and stories. Some of the artworks are hundreds of years old, while others were painted just a few years ago. It is a great place to look closely and imagine what the artist was trying to say.\n\nHere is your first challenge. As you walk through the gallery, try to find a painting or sculpture that makes you feel something strong. It could be happiness, confusion, even a little bit of fear. When you find it, explain to the family what feeling it gave you and why.\n\nSecond challenge. Choose your favourite artwork and strike a pose copying it. Take turns guessing which artwork the person is copying. This turns the gallery into a fun game of art charades.\n\nFun fact. The gallery first opened in 1874 with just a few paintings. Today it has more than 30,000 works of art. That is enough to fill every wall in a tall office tower.\n\nThis stop is all about imagination. Trees here can be hundreds of years old, so they are like the elders of the garden.\n\nAs we keep walking, the path will lead us right to the edge of Sydney Harbour. Suddenly, you will see one of the most famous buildings in the world, the Sydney Opera House. Its white sails rise above the water like a giant ship ready to sail.\n\nFun fact. When the Opera House was first designed in the 1950s, many people said it was impossible to build. It took 14 years to finish, and now it is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.\n\nSecond challenge. Pretend you are performers on the Opera House stage. Each person has to do a 10-second act.
