This site was created by artist Bruno Torfs, who emigrated from Belgium and settled in Australia in the late 1990s.\n\nThe garden features over 100 sculptures made from wood and terra cotta. Each piece was created by Bruno himself and placed throughout the natural bushland. The works include depictions of people, animals, and imaginative creatures, and many explore themes of community, spirituality, and human connection.\n\nIn 2009, the Black Saturday bushfires destroyed much of the garden along with Bruno’s home and studio. After the fires, Bruno remained in Marysville and began rebuilding. Many sculptures were restored, and new works were added as part of the recovery process.\n\nThe garden is privately owned and open to the public. It also includes a small indoor gallery showcasing Bruno’s paintings and smaller sculptures.
