A security deposit or passport is usually required for insurance purposes.\n\nI also recommend buying travel insurance, especially when traveling on roads in Asia.\n\nIf you're not confident with riding a scooter, you can call a songthaew (pickup with seats) to get from A to B. Make sure to negotiate a price with the driver first before jumping in the back."},{"type":"text","content":"There is no entrance fee to visit this attraction, just park your scooter, grab a snack and cold drink from the vendors at the small stall, and start walking up the bridge path stone ladder.\n\nIt takes about 5 minutes to walk up the stairs to the first lookout point, which tends to be where most visitors gather to watch the sunset, lining up to take pictures."},{"metadata":{"width":500,"height":750},"type":"img","version":1,"content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FXvvpxRGegalEKC1pdUPS%2Fpai-canyon-18-e1547261605147.jpg?alt=media&token=6c9d575d-e156-4d12-bb81-c7aba7cef710"},{"type":"text","content":"However, if you're game enough to hike along the small ridges to further, less crowded lookout points, you'll have a much better adventure and memorable experience at the canyon.\n\nThe mountainside trails are dusty with unprotected drops of up to 30 meters on either side, so be careful and know your limits.\n\nI recommend wearing a good pair of walking shoes when going around the top of the canyon."},{"type":"link","content":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCQ2j8K53L8"}]},{"address":"Coffee in Love","location":{"longitudeDelta":0.14321712068773834,"latitudeDelta":0.09219986310369421,"latitude":19.338381155573174,"longitude":98.43310905},"media":[{"type":"text","content":"# Coffee in Love"},{"metadata":{"width":1000,"height":665},"type":"img","version":1,"content":"https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/freeguides-prod.appspot.com/o/assets%2Ftours%2FXvvpxRGegalEKC1pdUPS%2F100o1f000001gp3s4645E.jpg?alt=media&token=f878bab9-cd89-4299-b25d-285a54d4ac8e"},{"type":"text","content":"Coffee in Love is a small roadside cafe near Pai village, 144 km from Chiang Mai. Nice enough coffee, nice view but other than that nothing worth writing home about or actually writing on the internet - or so you would think, and you'd be completely wrong.\n\nFrom Pai village to here is very easy. Rent a scooter, go about 2.8km back on the main road to Chiang Mai and it's on your left. If you look down from above, you will see that the bridge is very long and at the same time large fields and looks very beautiful in the fresh green color.\n\nThe bridge's name, \"Ko Kuu So\" is derived from the Shan word \"Kho Kuu So\". 'Ko' means 'bridge' and 'Kuu So' means 'merit'.\n\nThe person who came up with the idea to build the bridge was Master Sakorn Jaruthammo, director of the Kaikiri Buddhist Monk Group. The Venerable Master wished to build a bridge to connect Pam Bok Village and the Sangha. With the bridge, all monks can go from A to B conveniently. After talking to some villagers in Pam Bok, Ban Pang Tong and Ban Mae Leab villages, everything was ready. So the bridge was built in 2016."},{"type":"text","content":"## How to get there\n\nYou should start your trip from Pai.
